about artist
during my creative process i try to capture an idea inside my SKETCHBOOK as soon as i can. so theyre not so fleeing, even if it come out shit. sometimes i can build up a concept in my head for longer than i probably should. nonetheless i dont limit myself with my work. in order to always experiment, learn new methods and different techniques. however most my creations are made with acrylic paint. maybe its the fumes but i also love playing with spray paint, markers and pens. all that type of fun stuff.
to be blunt i dont care for money or fame when it comes to my art. the tohono o’odham “desert people” the people i come from, my mother, sister and brothers, family and friends. along with other like-minded creative individuals. are truly my core motivation behind all that i do. when my art is met with gaze i want people to experience my gift to them. the raw feeling of something real, art that was made “by humans, for humans” attitude. because its difficult for me to describe my art. i rarely explain my creations, but like to hear what others think. people termed my art as disobedient and symbolic. making art is simply a way of being since i found it as a child.
